Taking a screenshot of your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is an easy task. To do this, you need to press and hold the Home and Power/Lock buttons simultaneously for two or three seconds. Once this is done, you will hear a slight sound (if your phone hasn’t been set to silent) and see a brief animation of the screen being captured.
“The captured screenshot can be found directly in your Gallery app under the “Screenshots” folder or inside File Manager > Pictures > Screenshots.
You can also open it directly from the Notification Panel using the drop-down status bar at the top of the screen.”The captured screenshot can be found directly in your Gallery app under the “Screenshots” folder or inside File Manager > Pictures > Screenshots. “You have other options as well if you want to take screenshots without pressing hardware buttons:
1) Use Smart Capture – Swipe your hand across the touchscreen from left to right, ensuring it registers with the S Pen Air Command feature before leaving contact with the display (Air View allowed). This works even if the device has a locked display state.
2) Use Palm gesture – Hover your palm over the bottom side of the display and swipe across the left or right half of it quickly while making contact with the entire surface area – again registered by the Air View feature before doing so – then lift off a finger just up until”swipe” motion recognized for capture action to take place automatically afterward (not requiring further user input).
This approach works when the device is unlocked only, though!
3) Enable Screen Capture Shortcut icon on Home Screen – Tap Apps icon followed by Settings, then tap on Display entry located within Controls tab; make sure Motion subsection opened there; toggle On”Palm swipe to capture” shortcut switch located at the very bottom part afterward – shortcut should appear immediately after enabling above option upon returning Home Screen workspace where you wish to use the newly available tool now for taking screenshots without needing any physical button interaction nor entering Menu sections like before!”You have other options as well if you want to take screenshots without pressing hardware buttons:
